When I think of Anwahbe, I always think of Anishinabe! He was so proud of that - what a guy! This has to be the saddest of all things in life to happen to a mother, father and life partner. I share in your sadness. My sincere prayers to all of you... Ma Dos

I will always remember him as my friend. He always had a smile and a joke to tell whenever I was feeling sad. So very sorry to hear of his passing away. May God be near you during this time and in the days to come. Sending prayers up for each of his family members.

Sorry for the loss of your loved one! Anwahbe will be missed so much!! Loved visiting with him at the library, the laughs, the smiles, the love he showed to everyone was more than words can say.

Thomas families,
I was so shocked and sadden by the news of Fred's passing. I went to Everest, and Horton High with Fred. He was such a fun guy. I have many great memories of him. We had a lot of laughs when we were supposed to be learning. May God grant you peace and understanding.

To Fredrick R. “Anwahbe” Thomas, Jr. family,
Me and my family send our prayers and thoughts to you all. I remember so many good childhood memories of him. Every time I seen him we always had a very good visit and I was his Captain at Kickapoo Fire Department when I work part time up at KFD. He was a very excellent firefighter and highly respected up at the Kickapoo Nation community. He will be greatly miss by me.
